Gallbladder Surgery (Gallbladder Removal)
Around 1 in 10 adults have Gallstones. These stones can cause irritation to the Gallbladder, particularly when fatty foods are consumed, causing pain and nausea (biliary colic). Many patients with Gallstones and biliary colic will require have a Cholecystectomy (Gallbladder Surgery to remove the Gallbladder) prior to the development of severe complications.

Hernia Surgery (Hernia Repair)
A hernia occurs when tissue inside the abdomen pushes through a weak spot in the muscle, often forming a lump that may come and go and can cause discomfort. Hernias tend to enlarge over time and do not heal on their own, with some progressing to serious complications such as incarceration or strangulation. Surgical Hernia repair is recommended to relieve Hernia symptoms and prevent these potentially dangerous complications. A hernia surgery is most commonly performed as keyhole surgery but sometimes will require an open surgical approach.
